Joining profile pipes at any angle is a simple operation for experienced locksmiths. But self-taught beginners spend a lot of time and spoil the material for fitting so that they have an accurate joint. I will show you 3 ways how to do it easily.
For an example of the exact marking of the joint, I took 2 pieces of a 60 x 30 professional pipe, and laid them on a flat surface at an arbitrary angle. I marked the boundaries of this corner with chalk, so that later, the sawn-off pipes could be laid and joined within these boundaries of the mark.
Method one.
The ends of the pipes should be cut 90 degrees. We combine the pipes so that they touch the inner corners. We need a square tool for marking.
We attach the base of the square to the outer corners of the pipes. We combine the inner corner on the square and the outer corner of the pipe. In this position, we make a mark. It's the same with the other pipe. According to the first markup, we will draw in a circle, everything is ready.
Method two.
Take any straight material, even a professional pipe, attach it to the outer shelf and push it forward. From the other shelf of the second pipe, move it with a square to the intersection with the extended material, see what distance, remember this figure.
We will postpone this size from one end of the pipe, and from the second we will connect it with a line. We will get a triangle that will need to be cut.
Method three
Another option, you don't need to measure anything here. We just put the pipe on the pipe so that the corners of the ends are aligned. At the back will be the intersection of both pipes. We put a mark at this intersection on one and the other pipe. With these points, we connect the far ends of the pipe with markings, we get the same triangles as in the first options, which need to be cut off.
What happened
We got a precise joint with minimal gaps!
All three methods can be used, the result will be the same.
