What fertilizers are needed for seedlings

There are many different mineral and organic fertilizers on sale in specialized stores. There are universal fertilizers and those that are suitable for a particular crop. Fertilizers are often selected depending on the condition of the seedlings. A lack of trace elements can be indicated by the pale color of the leaves and the appearance of spots and holes on them. An effective remedy is "Gumi Kuznetsova", created on the basis of humic acids and containing many different microelements. It can be used for seedlings of vegetables and for young plants grown in a greenhouse or open garden.

The water-soluble mineral fertilizer "Krepysh" with the content of potassium humate is also popular among vegetable growers. It is suitable for soaking seeds and feeding seedlings or mature plants. To strengthen the stem and the growth of green mass, ammonia is used, 1 tsp. l. which is added to 10 liters of water. With this preparation, seedlings are watered at the root.

With a lack of calcium, which is necessary for the active growth of seedlings, eggshells are used. Top dressing is carried out with an infusion prepared from 3 liters of water and crushed shells of 4 eggs. The mixture is infused for 3 days in a dark place, then it is diluted with water in a ratio of 1: 3 and used for watering seedlings.

To saturate the soil with nitrogen, it is useful to feed the plants with coffee grounds. Previously, the thick is washed with water and dried, the resulting powder is sprinkled on the soil around the seedlings. When watering, nutrients will flow to the root system and nourish the plants.

To accelerate the growth of seedlings, build up green mass and increase immunity, yeast feeding is useful. 100 g of yeast is poured into 10 liters of water, 2 tbsp. l. sugar and mix thoroughly. After a day, the yeast infusion is diluted with water in a ratio of 1: 5 and poured over the plants.

Wood ash is considered a valuable source of phosphorus and potassium. Dry powder is added to the soil at the rate of 0.2 tsp. l. ash per 1 seedling. You can also prepare an infusion that is used for watering. Add 0.5 cups of ash to 10 liters of hot water; in a day, the infusion will be ready for use.
