You can make a quick cabbage pie using a different recipe.

Pour 220 g of sifted premium wheat flour into a large bowl, add 0.5 tsp. l. salt, 1 tsp l. baking powder and pour in 1 cup sour cream (the fatter it is, the tastier the dough will turn out). Beat the mixture with a whisk, add 4 eggs and mix thoroughly so that no lumps remain. Too thick mass can be diluted with a little water.

For the filling, you need 0.5 kg of white cabbage. It needs to be chopped and covered with lightly salted boiling water. Leave on for 10-15 minutes to soften the cabbage strips. After the time has passed, drain the water and add any finely chopped greens - green onions, dill, parsley.

In some recipes, it is recommended not to pour boiling water over the cabbage, but to lightly fry or stew it - this will make it softer and the taste of the filling will be more intense.

The shredded vegetable must be placed in a hot pan with vegetable oil, lightly salt and heated with the lid closed for 10-15 minutes. Chopped greens should be added only after the cabbage has cooled.

If you wish, you can make the pie more satisfying - add minced meat fried with onions to the filling. In this case, you should take a little less cabbage. However, the cooking time of the cake may be slightly longer.

Be sure to cool the hot filling to room temperature. When it cools down, it must be transferred to a bowl with ready-made batter and mix well so that it becomes homogeneous.

Grease heat-resistant dishes with any oil, lay out the dough mixture with the filling and smooth with a spatula. If desired, garnish the top of the pie with sprigs of parsley, dill and chives.

The oven should be preheated to 200 ° C. Place the cake pan in it and bake until tender. This may take 30-60 minutes depending on the power of the oven.
