Tomatoes can be planted in plastic or wooden boxes. In hot weather, plants are harvested in the shade. The black container should be wrapped in burlap so that it heats up less.
Drainage holes should be made in the bottom of any container. Excess moisture can lead to root rot and death of the plant. At the bottom of the bucket, you need to lay a layer of drainage, such as expanded clay or small stones. Then the fertile soil is covered. Leave in this form until spring.
The soil mixture should include humus, sod land, ash, hay and mineral fertilizing.
Features of planting and care

Tomatoes that are grown in separate containers are easier to protect from heat, rain or hail. For the rest, caring for them is not much different from that which is carried out for bushes growing in open ground.
Watering should be done regularly using warm water. To provide the root system with the required amount of oxygen, the soil must be periodically loosened. In the process of growing, it is necessary to carry out pinching and feeding of plants.
Fertilizer is applied 3 times per season. The first root feeding is carried out 8-12 days after planting. 0.5 l of mullein is dissolved in 10 l of water, then 1 tbsp. l. nitrophosphate.
2 weeks after this procedure, the tomatoes are fed with a solution of 10 liters of water, 1 tbsp. l. complex fertilizer and 1 tsp. l. potassium sulfate.
The last fertilizer is applied after 15 days. 2 tbsp. l. ash, 1 tbsp. l. superphosphate is dissolved in 10 l of water.
