- English roses or Austin roses. The buds of these roses resemble peony flowers. They are collected in inflorescences, which replace each other throughout the summer, due to which continuous flowering is ensured. Common varieties: Charlotte, Golden Celebration, Falstaff, Fisherman Friend, Glamis Castle.
- Spray roses. The new varieties resemble floribunda varieties, but the height of the bushes does not exceed 70 cm. Cut buds do not fade for a long time. The brightest representatives include varieties: Yana, Barbados, Lovely Lydia, Mimi Eden, Satin.
Daylilies
Bright color, unpretentiousness, ease of care - all these are daylilies. Very elegant and attractive flowers. They are hardy, they will survive insufficient watering, and partial shade, and hot sun. They hibernate without shelter.
Propagated by dividing rhizomes, grow rapidly. Bloom the next year after transplanting. Daylilies with long flowering include the following varieties:
- Stella de Oro - low bushes with yellow flowers that delight with flowering from May to October.
- Frans Hals is a meter high bush with large two-colored flowers.
- Strawberry Candy - has pink flowers with corrugated paper edges.
Astilba
The flowering period is about a month, but different varieties bloom at different times from the beginning to the end of summer. Having planted species with the beginning of flowering at different times, you can enjoy beautiful flowering all season.
The plant has graceful openwork leaves of different shapes in different varieties. They are a decoration of the garden even after the end of flowering. Prefers partial shade.
Aquilegia
A variety of colors - from bright to delicate pastel colors, and an openwork rosette of leaves will not leave the aquilegia unattended. Flowers can be large or small, velvety or ordinary - it all depends solely on the variety.
It blooms for about a month, but twice - at the beginning and at the end of summer. Florists recommend regularly removing wilting inflorescences in order to achieve continuous flowering. Very good for mixed plantings.
Badan
An evergreen plant that will decorate the garden not only with its flowering, but also with unique fleshy leaves. It blooms from late April to late June, at the end of summer the berry leaves turn red, which makes the garden bright.
It grows well among stones near water bodies. It is unpretentious in leaving. Often planted as a curb. The flowers are lilac-pink in color.
Gaillardia
It blooms from June to late autumn. The flowers are large, with a variety of orange and red shades. It is universal. It can be planted independently, or it can be grown in group plantings. Looks good as a border.
If you do not remove the baskets that have faded, then the seeds from them, falling to the soil, sprout on their own. Over time, the entire area will be densely planted with brightly blooming Gaillardia.
Clematis
The liana-like shape of this plant allows you to use them for decorating buildings, arbors, creating arches. The color of flowers is almost all kinds of tones.
Clematis blooms for 4 years after planting, but its lush foliage, combined with incredibly beautiful flowers, and long flowering are worth the wait.
Annuals blooming all summer
Annual flowers are very bright and varied. They go well with perennials and, when creating flower beds, help hide some defects. The main thing is to take into account the compatibility of plants in height, endurance, and moisture requirements.
Annual plants can be divided into specific groups:
- Unpretentious. Calendula, zinnia, marigolds, petunia, nasturtium bloom all summer and scare away pests with their smell.
- For flower beds. Daisies, dahlias, balsam, phlox, snapdragon, salvia. Tall amaranth, datura, delphinium are always planted in the center of the flower bed. A stunted viola, night violet, nemophila are brought to the fore.
- For shady places. Alyssum, fuchsia, delphinium, coleus, spotted beetle. Unpretentious, hardy flowers that can grow both in the shade and in the hot sun.
The main thing when creating a flower garden is the choice of not only beautiful and fashionable varieties, but also those that resonate in the soul and give real harmony to the owner during the flowering period.
