The dollar tree does not need frequent, abundant watering. It is enough to moisten the soil as needed, since the fleshy leaves contain the necessary moisture reserve. The plant reacts negatively to excess water - root rotting begins. In addition, infection with a fungal disease is possible.
Top dressing
With the beginning of spring and the growing season, the flower can be fed with nitrogen-containing fertilizer. Later, until the very period of winter dormancy, the culture is fed with mineral complexes, which include phosphorus and potassium.
This treatment stimulates good crown development and strengthens the root system. However, the effect is possible if the plant is not sick and is not damaged by pests.
