It is necessary to thin out the plantings, since too many plants deplete the soil and prevent the root system from developing, which negatively affects the appearance and yield of the vegetable.
It is imperative to add the necessary fertilizers to the soil. If the soil is too poor, you should apply a complex fertilizer for vegetables, which can be purchased at a specialized store. It is important that it contains nitrogen, which is necessary for cucumbers for good growth and increased yields.
The optimal watering regime should be established. Too cold water should not be used for it, so that the plant does not overcool. Watering should be abundant, it is important that the soil is soaked at least 10-15 cm deep. It has been experimentally established that during the flowering and fruiting period, cucumber plantings should be watered every 2-3 days at the rate of 10 liters of water per 1 sq. m.
It is advisable to carry out this procedure in the morning or evening. If too much water gets into the beds, you must immediately loosen the soil under each bush or sprinkle a handful of sifted wood ash under them.
Be sure to regularly air the cucumbers that are in the greenhouse. Getting fresh air will help fight diseases and pests.
It is important to observe the temperature regime for good growth and active fruiting. Before the appearance of fruits, it should be + 22... + 24 ° C in the daytime, + 17... + 18 ° C at night. During fruiting: during the day + 23... + 26 ° C, at night + 18... + 20 ° C.
