We are talking about the favorite products and dishes of the people of that time, which are not always clear to our contemporaries. The set of the Soviet food basket was strikingly different from what we are used to today. Nevertheless, people had food at their disposal that brought them joy and seemed insanely delicious.

Going to the store and buying bread was a task that was given to Soviet children one of the first. With pennies clutched in their palms, the guys ran for bread as fast as they could. An obligatory ritual was to defend a rather big queue. But everyone returned home without much haste. Naturally, the fragrant, ruddy crust did not go unnoticed. Often they brought home already bitten bread, or even without a crust on one side. And at that moment, no one even imagined anything more delicious.
