A suburban wooden house is a dream of eternally busy city dwellers who, in such an atmosphere, could escape from the frantic pace of life. And if it is located in the wilderness, among the most picturesque alpine landscape, then a lot of impressions and complete relaxation will be provided. This need was noticed by the Swiss company The Little Log House and designed a fabulously beautiful log mini-house, the improvement of which the owners of huge villas will envy.
Given the growing demand for cozy log houses, where you can forget about the vanity of modern existence, the Swiss construction company The Little Log House has been creating compact models from natural wood. The mini-cottage "Stunning Gate Lodge" turned out to be especially impressive, which impressed with its functionality and fabulous beauty. Its appearance on the world market for the construction of tiny houses caused a real stir.
Despite its attractive appearance and assurances that the blockhouse is made of environmentally friendly materials and is fully landscaped, few people believed that it would be comfortable to live or relax in such a tiny house, because in small areas it is very complicated.
But fears disappear by themselves, one has only to cross the threshold of a charming hut, the interior of which is thought out to the smallest detail. I was pleased that The Little Log House specialists competently and rationally use each millimeter of internal space, they were able to organize a quite decent life on an area of only 27 sq. meters.
As usual, the authors of Novate. Ru could not pass by such an original model, so everyone who has looked at this page can fully enjoy the review of the fabulous house. Already on the way to the mini-cottage, created in a rustic style, you can see its reliable log facade, hand-carved decorative elements, wooden tiles, created according to old technologies, a rather large veranda and a balcony that attract the eye and draw pictures of an exciting holiday on fresh air.
Even from a distance, it can be seen that the house is very light, because the presence of windows suggests that the sun's rays will play on the log walls, additionally decorating the interior. Once inside the log house, the guesses are confirmed and this is not surprising, given that the lower tier has an open layout, which means that there are simply no obstacles to the penetration of daylight.
On the ground floor, the authors of the project arranged a living room, kitchen and dining room, which smoothly flow into each other. The cozy living room has enough space for a sofa and chairs, and built-in wardrobes at the other end of the large room save space without interfering with the penetration of sunlight. This arrangement of bulky pieces of furniture freed up space from the corners of the living room, and a small TV was placed in one of them.
On the other side of the lower tier is a small kitchen, which is equipped with a worktop with a hob and a round sink hidden in corner of a solid handmade wooden set, several pedestals, open hinged shelves serve as a storage for kitchen utensils and necessary products. To save space, we installed a small refrigerator under the countertop, so we can assume that the kitchen has built-in appliances.
But the dining area is located between the kitchen and the living room, it is defined by a massive dining table for 6 people, and quite a large space around it so that guests / hosts can have dinner in peace, just sit, chatting or playing table games. An original wicker lamp hanging directly above the dining area and carved wooden chairs complete the dining room decor.
A bathroom with a completely modern shower cabin and a full toilet is hidden behind the kitchen area, so the comfort for both the owners and the guests arriving will be provided in full.
Thanks to the high ceilings, the bedrooms are placed on the second tier, to which a hand-made pine staircase with original forged elements leads. This interior detail demonstrates the special craftsmanship of the creators of the tiny house and provides convenient and completely safe access to the upper floor.
On the second tier, it was possible to equip two bedrooms at once. One of them is a fairly spacious bedroom with a seating area both indoors and on an open balcony. It is he who, like a magnet, attracts those who want to fully relax and abandon the frantic rhythm of modern life.
The bedroom itself matches the rustic (rustic) interior of the whole house - a wooden bed, massive chests of drawers, a small a modest sofa for relaxation, walls made of raw boards, a sloped ceiling with beams, while no pretentious elements and unnecessary decor. Despite the simplicity and minimalism, the bedroom turned out to be quite cozy due to the large array of light unpainted wood and the presence of several windows that can be seen even on the ceiling.

The second bedroom is very tiny, but no less comfortable, so spending the night in a cozy place with the breathtaking smell of wood exuding all the interior elements will definitely work out.

Interesting fact: The Little Log House company, whose motto became the words: “We love our work and make our dreams come true, using in the design details inspired by fairy tales ", really creates unique houses from natural wood. Only in the “Stunning Gate Lodge” line there are already several models that architects adapt to the wishes of customers. The company builds each cottage by hand and then disassembles it for shipment to the United States, Canada and Europe, where specialists assemble it on site.
Despite the fact that in our time, you can use ultra-modern building materials to create housing, but wooden log cabins still hold the palm when it comes to country houses. Especially impressive are projects in which rude rustic style, comfort and sophisticated luxury are subtly intertwined.
