The farm may need to perform a variety of tasks. For example, one day you may need to bend a pipe. Without special tools, this is not as easy as it might seem at first glance. However, there is one tried and tested method that will do the trick with a not-so-thick pipe without using narrow-profile tools.
What you need: block of wood or stalk, forge or gas stove, dry sand
So, the procedure for bending a metal pipe is generally not difficult. First you need to make two plugs from wood for the diameter of the holes of the bent tube. The plugs should turn out to be reliable and completely cover all openings. One of them is immediately inserted. After that, sand is poured into the pipe. It must be dry without fail. Alternatively, you can use concrete clay or even cat litter (worst of all). When the pipe is full, a second plug is inserted.
Further, markings are made on the tube - the place of the future bend is marked. The next step is the most crucial. The pipe is heated with a gas burner, forge or a conventional gas stove in the place where it should be bent. When working on hands, it is imperative to wear tight protective gloves. The sand will help to distribute the heating temperature along the entire length more or less evenly.

The last step remains. The heated pipe is leaning against a suitable bend support. It is best if a round timber of a tree squeezed in a vice acts as it. The bottom line is that the bending will take place due to the expansion of the metal along the outer radius, and not due to the deformation of the inner part of the tube. If it suddenly forms a hallway, then the pipe was not completely filled with sand or the sand was not poured tightly enough.
