Rust is the trouble with any metal product. The chrome parts are not any fundamental exception in this regard. They also face this problem sooner or later. Fortunately, chrome cleaning is not that difficult. The entire operation will take a matter of minutes if you have the necessary tools and materials at hand.
What you need: container with water, aluminum foil, WD-40, paper napkins
So, we take a small container and pour ordinary water into it, preferably warm. We need it in order to be able to remove fat and oil contaminants and deposits. After that, take a piece of aluminum foil and crush it. You should not be especially zealous, you do not need to turn the foil into a dense ball. The result should be a more or less loose lump. This is necessary so that the product retains a representative amount of water.
The essence of the cleaning method is extremely simple. The foil will cut off the rust that has formed on the chrome coating, and the water pulling out of the coma will immediately wash it off. You shouldn't worry about the chrome finish in such a situation. It is much stronger than it seems, despite the fact that it has a very small thickness. Aluminum foil cannot damage it. The lump must be periodically dipped in water, and then over and over again the cleaning movements up and down along the contaminated area of the product must be repeated.
The first stage of cleaning is complete. As soon as the rusty stains are wiped off with foil, you need to take a dry napkin and thoroughly wipe the entire part with it from water. Immediately after that, a certain amount of WD-40 is applied to the surface of the part to be cleaned.

We spray just a little bit, after which we take a second dry napkin and begin to rub the part. This composition will help protect chromium from future rust formation. Of course, the lubrication of parts for protection purposes must be repeated periodically.
