This is because not only the displacement is important, but also the container in which the fuel is stored. Simply put, the barrel or canister must be specially designed for storing fuel and made of appropriate materials. Such containers have corresponding designations on their bodies.
So, if you do not want to have problems with the law, you should not pour gasoline and diesel in glass and plastic containers.
