What you need: plastic bottles, copper wire, bottle cutter, chipboard or plywood, tools

First of all, you have to get hold of a bottle cutter. You can do it yourself. On the Internet, there are a huge number of all kinds of recipes for creating a cunning and extremely useful device. As soon as such a thing is in our hands, it is adjusted to a cutting width of 20 mm.

The bottles used as raw materials must be of the same color. Otherwise, the mesh will be dazzling and will have to be additionally painted. And this is even more expensive. Meanwhile, the tapered spout of the "bottle cutter" is shortened so that the diameter of the outlet is 3-4 mm.

Next, a guide rail is placed, which will work as a form for the chain-link segments. Fiberboard or plywood with a thickness of about 5 mm is best suited for this role. On it, using a file, gutters are made with an inclination of 45 degrees. You will also need to make a guide from a nail and a ballpoint pen.

At the edges, each segment of the chain-link is woven with copper wire.
