Light-emitting diode (LED) strips are now a very popular type of LED products, which is still continues to gain popularity in decorative and advertising lighting, as well as in functional lighting.
They represent a thin substrate (0.2-0.25 mm) on which surface mount LEDs (or they are also called SMD LEDs) are installed. The connection diagram of the LEDs in the tape is parallel.

- Long service life (up to 50 thousand. operating hours) with correct installation and compliance with the supply voltage);
- Such a long service life greatly increases the maintenance intervals of the LED strip lighting system;
- Low consumption of electrical energy.
Summing up, we can say that LED strips are multifunctional and are used more and more often for home and street lighting. And, for example, in outdoor advertising and car lighting, led-strips have successfully "pressed out" neon lamps.
