This article is my opinion (positive) about Xiaomi MI TV Box.
Onboard the device has 8 GB of its own memory, which is used to store application data, as well as to record broadcasts. In fact, this device is a "magic wand" for TVs that lack the Smart TV option.
Surely many of us have TVs at home that have long become obsolete, but we don't want to part with them. There are also new models that cannot boast of a "cool" filling and are content with only a minimal set of functions. This situation did not pass me by either.
At the time of purchase, my old Phillips had decent functionality (pleased me with a bright and clear picture, backlighting on the sides and the "3D" mode). After 9 years, only memories of the former power of the gadget remained.
After looking for information on Youtube, I came across a video in which a blogger was observing a device from the Chinese company Xiaomi, which looked like an ordinary USB flash drive.
The package of delivery of a miniature TV-box includes:
- user guide
- the box itself
- remote control with built-in microphone
- power adapter
- USB A to micro USB cable
Connection to the TV is made via hdmi. The choice for such a connection method was not chosen by chance, because it has been actively used by electronics manufacturers for over 15 years.
Mi TV Stick has a strict look, the body is made of black plastic. The remote is tiny, lightweight and made of soft-touch matte plastic. Despite the minimum number of buttons, the functionality of the remote fully corresponds to the Android TV 9 system pre-installed on the set-top box. The lack of batteries (2xAAA) was a bit upsetting.
The Mi Tv Stick connects to the Internet via built-in Wi-Fi. Applications are installed via the Play Market, just like on a smartphone.
