Designer Anna Kovalchenko has designed a two-room apartment for rent in the historic center of Moscow. The room has acquired bright fresh colors and became noticeably brighter and more spacious.

The inspiration was the cozy Moscow courtyard in which the house itself is located. The customer's wishes included the use of rich natural colors in the interior. The designer's task was to visually expand the space and add more air and light to the room.
Kitchen
The kitchen is decorated in white. The spring colors of the living room here support the general tone with hints. For example, a nautical hue can be seen in dining room furniture, and a bright green in accessories.
For the sake of maintaining the effect of airiness, they preferred a kitchen set without bulky upper cabinets - they were replaced by light wooden shelves.
Living room
The main room was painted in bright spring shades - sea blue, bright green, pink, water colors, young greenery and sunset.
The place on the far wall opposite the window was taken by a mirror panel in the form of a tile, with the help of which the small living room became more voluminous, and the natural landscape outside the window turned into part of the apartment itself.
Since the budget was very limited, furniture and decor items were purchased in the mass market.
Bedroom
The sleeping area was decorated in more soothing pastel colors: all the same - muted pink and green.
Also, beige shades were added to the color scheme.
Bathroom
There was not enough budget for major repairs in the bathroom, so we had to make do with cosmetic ones.
