How to decorate an interior for renting through Airbnb: we show it on the example of a 51 m² kopeck piece in St. Petersburg

Designer Alexandra Chigintseva has designed a Euro-duplex apartment with an area of ​​51 for short-term rentals through Airbnb.

Customers wanted an inexpensive but effective interior that would stand out from the crowd of other proposals and quickly attract customers.

The apartment is located in the house of Baron Steingolts in the center of St. Petersburg. The exterior partially suggested the look of the project.

The base was made light and neutral, using light gray tones and shades of natural wood. A red-brick, almost terracotta color was used as an accent in the kitchen-living room.

Living room

A dark leather sofa was placed in the center of the single room of the kitchen-living room, which marked the border between the zones.

Kitchen

The working area of ​​the kitchen was built into a niche. It was further accentuated at floor level by using more practical tiles. A wide strip of the wall above the apron was trimmed with an accent color.

Bedroom

The glazing was preserved in the upper part of the partition. The bedroom has two windows. So natural light can better flow into the kitchen-living room.

Hallway

In the hallway, the same floor tiles were used as in the entire non-residential part of the apartment. The elongated mirror set a vertical vector and visually expanded the space a little.

Bathroom

The bathroom is finished in neutral gray, white and black colors. The ornament of the main tile plays the role of an accent.
