Designer Marina Podyacheva designed a two-room apartment in a Stalin-era building based on the loft style.

Other design solutions were also used in the interior. Also, the task was to solve the problem with an inconsistent redevelopment.

  • total area: 60 m²
  • Number of rooms: 2
  • Building type: "Stalinka"
  • A place: Moscow
  • Who lives here: young girl
  • Budget: 4.12 million (renovation + furniture + design)
  • Designer: Marina Podyacheva (Newarchform)

The customer bought an apartment with illegal redevelopment and first of all asked the designer to somehow change the situation. As a result, the kitchen and the corridor were divided by a partition, and the exit from the bathroom was returned to the hallway.

In the design, taking into account the wishes of the hostess, they relied on the loft style. However, after consulting with the designer, it was decided to weave other interesting details into the interior. In particular, the apartment was refreshed with an unusual floral print.

Living-dining room

A large room was divided into several zones using partitions. In the far part of the apartment, a recreation area has been allocated, from where there is an exit to a balcony overlooking Moscow City.

The load-bearing wall exposed the brickwork, creating a hint of loft style. Historical stucco moldings have been preserved under the ceilings.

The original plans to lay the parquet were abandoned in order to save money. Instead, a laminate with an active pattern was laid. As a result, we managed to save about 80 thousand. rubles.

The mini-dining room was delimited by wooden slats. The partition was supported by wall trim behind the TV. Also, the zone was highlighted with a rich green tint of the walls.

Kitchen

The set, on the one hand, supports the loft style, and on the other hand, it brings an unexpected accent to the interior. The customer decided on him almost at first sight.

To avoid overloading, lightweight, translucent cabinets were hung on the wall.

Bedroom

The bedroom turned out to be compact, since the room also provided a place for a separate dressing room.

The heating radiators were replaced, and the pipes were painted copper to match the brick wall.

Hallway

A decorative rhinoceros became an unexpected interior detail in the corridor. The animalistic theme is continued by the image of a zebra in the dining room.

Bathroom

When decorating the bathroom, difficulties arose with the old communications.

To fit in all the necessary content, the toilet had to be moved. For this, they made a nut. A mini-laundry room was also lifted onto it.
