The apartment is designed in a modern minimalist style. Scandi and loft elements were also used.

All the essentials for a comfortable life were placed on a small square. In particular, a full kitchen and a spacious bed. Instead of a living room, a recreation area was equipped on the attached loggia.

  • total area: 27 m²
  • Number of rooms: Studio
  • A place: St. Petersburg
  • Who lives here: the son of customers - a student - stops during visits to the Northern capital
  • Budget: 0.7-1.4 million rubles
  • Designer: Maria Pilipenko

Initially, the customers planned to decorate the apartment in the style of a loft and lay out one of the walls with brickwork. The designer convinced them to abandon this idea in order to save space.

As a result, the scale turned out, rather, a scandi-interior. However, some details of the loft were naturally built into the overall concept.

Living room

The palette is based on neutral light gray and white shades. This made it possible to visually expand the room a little.

The minimalistic interior was diversified with decor. The designer has selected unusual facades for dresser Thimon. The ship-themed ornament refers to the history of the city.

The ceiling was painted gray, the color was lowered a little on the walls and outlined with edging of a more saturated shade. Thanks to the erasure of the border between the planes, it was possible to add a little more volume to the room.

The textures of metal, leather and wood brought a hint of the loft style. The floor was laid with oak planks. The cover is slightly aged and bleached.

Another interesting detail is a small table made of wood and onyx on an original support. Together with the chairs, he was placed in the recreation area on the attached loggia.

Kitchen

A two-meter suite with MDF facades made to look like concrete was placed in a united front.

There was almost no room left for a full-fledged dining group, so a bar counter was installed on the border with the living area. Its surface was cast in concrete.

The color scheme in the kitchen is monochrome. It was diversified by the use of various textures. The table top, for example, is made of artificial stone.

Hallway

In the hallway, the same flooring was used to avoid dividing the compact space. To protect against dirt, a transparent silicone mat was placed in the entrance area.

A cabinet was placed in a niche to the right of the door into three sections, solving the issue of storage.

Bathroom

The walls in the bathroom were decorated with inexpensive tiles. It resembles painted brick and a bit of a loft. The porcelain stoneware on the floor resembles concrete in texture.
