The owner lives in the United States on a permanent basis, but comes home several times a year. He wanted to feel at home in a Russian apartment. A large and functional kitchen is one of his main wishes.

  • total area: 51 m²
  • Number of rooms: euro two
  • Who lives here: the man
  • Budget: 2.8 million rubles
  • Designer: Anna Popova
The range is based on neutral gray shades. They were used as the backdrop for blue and turquoise accent pieces of furniture and decor, many of which were made from designer sketches.

Living room

The calm gray walls and light wood flooring have been refreshed with shades of blue. The softer tone of the sofa upholstery was enhanced by the rich colors of the painting and the rug, deepening the accent power.

Wooden slats in the TV area set a vertical rhythm, visually raising the ceiling higher. At the window, in place of the former balcony, a mini-dining room was organized. The upholstery color of the chairs maintains a contrasting blue in the living room.

Kitchen

The U-shaped shape of the kitchen set made it possible to separate it from the recreation area. They abandoned the partitions - this way they managed to fill the entire space with natural light.

Light gray glossy facades and table top visually make the room more voluminous and airy.

The surface of the refrigerator, lamps and other elements of chrome-plated metal enhance this effect and add variety to a calm interior through the use of various textures.

Bedroom

More wood was used in the decoration of the bedroom. Shades of textiles have taken on the role of color accents in the interior.

The area behind the headboard has been decorated with soft panels that bring vertical dynamics through lines. A narrow mirror on the side reinforces this technique, further separating the floor and ceiling.

A workplace was arranged by the window. It was highlighted with a mirror, so it can also function as a dressing table. A wardrobe was placed against the opposite wall for storing bed linen and clothes.

Hallway

The entrance area was decorated with vertical wooden slats, which were also used in the living room. They are in color and thematically related to the picture.

Bathroom

The bathroom combines shades of gray, warm wood and metallic elements. To save space, the choice was made in favor of a spacious shower cabin.
