The hostess indicated coziness and convenience as her main wishes. There was no need for a global redevelopment. The kitchen was slightly modified, having allocated a niche for the headset, and also provided a place for a cabinet in the hallway. In addition, the bathrooms were combined.

  • total area: 61.4 m²
  • Number of rooms: 2
  • House type: stalinka
  • A place: Moscow
  • Who lives here: elderly woman
  • Budget: 2.5 million rubles
  • Designer: Alexandra Dashkevich (ANDdesign)

Living room

The customer already had all the furniture for the living room, including the old wardrobe, which fit well with the chosen concept. We only bought an ottoman at IKEA.

The classic fireplace draws the most attention. The neutral finish was refreshed with a floral still life.

Kitchen

The headset was picked up at IKEA. The apron was partially accentuated with oblong terracotta tiles. The end wall was painted in the same color.

The rest of the apron is made of quartz composite to match the countertop. In the kitchen, they used the remnants of the Provence-style colored tiles that the hostess had.

They decided to complement the dining room with a large comfortable chair with a pouf from IKEA. Kant in the Roman blinds on the windows supports the terracotta theme.

Bedroom

In the bedroom, they decided to shade the warm color of the hostess's furniture with a colder wall decoration.

The wall behind the headboard was highlighted with Harlequin wallpaper with birds. The canvases already available from the customer were used as curtains, they were corrected for the window and supplemented with light tulle.

Hallway

A wine-colored accent wall was made in the hallway, supported by a Lavsit ottoman. It was also supplemented with a picture of the hostess.

Bathroom

The existing bronze mosaic was used in the bathroom. It was refreshed with Kerama Marazzi tiles. This is how a pale pink bathroom turned out.

Also, the ceiling was slightly lowered in the room and the upper built-in Neoncolor lamps were installed.
