The compact one-room apartment is designed for renting one person or a couple. Therefore, in the only room, they decided to place a bedroom with a full bed. In addition, a mini-office was equipped there. The dining table, meanwhile, can also be a place to hang out.

  • total area: 39.1 m² (with balcony)
  • Number of rooms: 1
  • A place: St. Petersburg
  • Who lives here: for rent
  • Budget: 1 million rubles
  • Designer: Anastasia Zarkua
The aesthetic concept is based on the Scandinavian style. At the same time, bright colors that were not too typical for it were used in the decoration. Nevertheless, the shades were chosen natural, but in a more intense performance.

Bedroom

The room was filled with color by means of an accent wall - it was painted in deep blue. The textiles support this tone and add additional contrasts.

Posters and other images in frames with black edging were widely used as decor, which added graphicity to the interior.

All furniture was chosen dark, creating a contrast against the calm finish. The interior was diversified with other textures, in particular, a metal side table.

A laconic workplace was placed at the exit. This area was also enlivened with bright pictures in strict frames.

Kitchen

A classic "Scandinavian" set was selected for the kitchen, combining a wooden countertop, white fronts and contrasting black handles.

They decided to abandon the upper cabinets so as not to burden the space and make the room more airy. The walls were painted a rich olive green, and the apron in the work area was laid with white square tiles.

The color scheme is complemented by numerous plants, both live and painted.

Hallway

The hallway was decorated with the same color as in the kitchen. Floristic motives are revealed literally from the doorway.

Bathroom

The bathroom was finished with one material, but at the same time they created a contrast of a light top and a dark bottom. White plumbing and black set under the sink and stool also come into contrast.
