This summer I managed to make dozens of useful homemade products from simple plastic bottles. Some turned out to be unsightly and useless, and some turned out to be really practical. In this article, I want to share the products that I liked the most.

1. Strawberry supports

5 liter plastic bottles make good supports for strawberry bushes. Products will help keep the berries above the ground, avoiding decay, slug attack and pollution. One canister is enough to create four supports. How to do this, I described in detail in one of the previous materials, photographing each step. You can find the article by the link - We make simple supports for strawberries from plastic bottles (4 supports from one container)

It takes no more than 15 minutes to create four supports. Over time, when the movements are brought to automatism, the time is reduced by 1.5 times. Of the tools, only scissors and a sharp knife will be needed.

The advantage of such supports is availability and durability. Since plastic is not subject to decay, the products have an unlimited shelf life. You can store the supports in the shed by folding them into each other.

2. Snail protection

One and a half liter transparent bottle can be used to make excellent protection against slugs and snails. To do this, it is necessary to cut off the bottom and neck of the container, and then chop the upper part so that a plastic pile is obtained. The detailed process is described in the previous article. You can find it by the link - We make plant protection from a plastic bottle that no snail (slug) can overcome

Protection works as follows. A snail or slug crawls to a soft plastic pile, which begins to bend under the weight. After that, the pest has no chance. The mollusk either sits motionless for a long time or immediately falls to the ground.

3. Seed container

From the neck of a plastic bottle and two caps, you can make a small container for all sorts of little things. The capsule can store small seeds, paper clips, nuts, cloves and even spices.

Thanks to the seals in the lids, the container is airtight and suitable for storing matches in a gazebo or shed. This feature will be useful for those who often go hiking or fishing.

For reliability, one of the covers can be fixed with the "Moment" glue.

The detailed creation process is described in one of my previous articles. You can find it by the link - We make a small container for all sorts of little things from two lids from plastic bottles

4. Fertilizer filter

To make it easier to filter liquid fertilizers, you can install a homemade filter on the bucket. It is made from a two-liter bottle, a small bar, plywood trimming and two self-tapping screws. To prevent the holes from clogging up with plant waste, they must be made not only on the bottom, but also on the walls of the container. The higher they are, the less often you need to clean the filter.

A detailed description of the creation process from the filter can be found at the link - Making a simple filter for liquid fertilizers from a plastic bottle
