Has arrived the moment that in the evening I did not prepare food for lunch. I didn't go into the dining room, but decided to buy Doshirak, sometimes I want it with sausage. While looking for "doshik" I came across a package of borscht for only 34 rubles. At that moment I thought what a miracle Yudo. This is what the technique has reached, borscht can already be cooked in 5 minutes. No matter how space technology.

Well that, I took a package of "Borscht with croutons" and headed home. Looking forward to a delicious lunch. At home, I carefully examined the packaging. Scrolling through the gallery.

Let's get started to autopsy. As it turned out, there was just a packet with incomprehensible contents. My imagination drew something completely different ...

Go no where. It is necessary to brew and taste. Eat that "hotza". But I studied the ingredients carefully. As you can see, in the close-up photo, the bags contain: Some kind of flakes, most likely potato. Dried finely chopped vegetables, carrots and either cabbage or onions. And bread croutons. No dried cockroaches, meat-like, were found.

I decided to read the composition on the package.

Really, according to the manufacturer's assurance of this "concentrate", the composition includes:

  • Potato flakes
  • Croutons (bread croutons)
  • Palm oil!!!
  • Vegetables: beets, carrots, onions, cabbage, beetroot powder.
  • Herbs: parsley and dill.
  • Vegetable textured protein (what is it?).
  • Glucose, salt, citric acid, "stinky", as I call the flavorings, with the taste of beef.

May be, after adding boiling water, will the contents of the bag transform and look much better? We brew. At that moment, I smelled silage mixed with seasonings, reminiscent of doshirak. We are waiting for 5 minutes.

In the end, this is what happened. Apparently the potato flakes are swollen. Thus, such a consistency was formed.

Tastes like puree, highly diluted with water. With the addition of seasonings "A la" doshirak. The desire to eat the second and subsequent spoons did not cause. Would I eat this if I was a poor student? Definitely yes. But now my stomach has become weak and I do not want to put experiments on myself anymore. The so-called borscht is edible, but not tasty... And it causes an unpleasant reflex in me.
