Dowels and screws which are used by finishers
Intersecting with one finisher at the facility, I casually complained to him that normal consumables are hard to find. To which he showed me what he uses, and in the end he also began to use these dowels himself.
Here they are in the photo, but what is special about them you say? The fact is that they stick very tightly into the material of the walls. And this is due to the design features. For example, when attaching supports for water pipes, the dowel not only expands its body from the included self-tapping screw.
But it also continues to expand from the engagement of the turns of the screw of the dowel tip. In which there is a special hole.
Naturally, it will not open like this in the wall, but the additional expansion force will allow the self-tapping screw to be firmly fixed in the wall.
For mounting the supports I use strong black self-tapping screws. And for the installation of other products, a self-tapping screw with a press washer. Since its head has a large contact area.
