Today we will make funny, partly even useful, crafts from plastic bottles. I don't know about you, but I really like plastic bottles as a material for creativity.
Well, for making crafts, I used:
· Plastic bottles from Cola 2 liter;
· Scissors, marker, ruler;
· Nail polish remover;
· Sandpaper;
· Rubber gloves;
· Candle;
· Hot glue;
· Paints in spray cans.
Making such a craft will be an exciting activity for a child. Take it off your phone or computer and go, create!
Spray paints can be replaced with water-based acrylic paints, they are odorless and not as toxic as aerosols.
Step 1.
I took plastic bottles of 2 liters, you can use a smaller volume, but then, perhaps, the sizes will be different. Cut off the bottom of 3 bottles. There is a line that looks like a seam, straight along it and cut it.
Step 2.
On the other 3 bottles, I drew a line at a height of 8 cm from the bottom and cut off.
Step 3.
I cleaned the cut edges of the bottles with sandpaper so that they would not cut my hands.
Step 4.
I cut pieces of plastic from the middle part of the bottle, where there are no stiffeners. I cut out thin strips - these will be cuttings, and also cut out the leaves.
I slightly melted the leaves and cuttings above the candle.
Step 5.
I glued the leaves with cuttings with hot glue.
Step 6.
I processed all plastic blanks with nail polish remover.
Step 7.
I painted the leaves and cuttings with green spray paint. The rest of the parts are also painted in different colors. Leave to dry for 20 minutes.
It is best to spray paint outdoors to avoid breathing in the paint. Or use acrylic paints.
Step 8.
I glued the cuttings with the leaves into place.
That's all, we got funny boxes for various little things, sweets or something else. They look like bell peppers or apples, I don't know for sure.
