Friends, I am glad to welcome you to my channel!

Yes, yes, we will make rings from the newspaper today! Suddenly? So I had the question “What, was it possible?” When I saw this method on some YouTube channel. I could not believe my eyes, I decided to repeat it and the result surprised me very much.

The rings are not only interesting and unusual, but also quite strong! Moreover, they are not afraid of moisture and water. And the appearance can be done whatever you want.

Who can use it? I dont know. I just wondered, I did it and am sharing with you what I did. It's up to you to decide whether to try it or not.

For making rings, I used:

· Newspapers;

· Marker, ruler, knife;

· PVA construction glue, glue stick;

· Sandpaper;

· Brushes;

· Acrylic paints;

· Acrylic lacquer.

Not that I really wanted to make these rings or wear them, no! I was torn by the interest whether in fact plain paper and glue would make a fairly strong product. That's what drove me at that moment. And since the result pleased me, that's why this article was born.

I decided to make several rings, of different sizes, different thicknesses and widths.

Step 1.

I cut strips of different widths from the newspaper.

Step 2.

PVA glue was diluted a little with water, otherwise it is very thick for these purposes.

Step 3.

He began to twist rings from strips under different fingers. First, I grabbed it with glue-pencil, and then, carefully coating each turn with PVA glue.

The most important thing is that no air bubbles remain between the turns, otherwise they will ruin everything. And yet, the newspaper must be completely saturated with glue.

Step 4.

I twisted the rings from the newspaper of the right size and again missed the PVA well. He left the rings to dry for a day.

Step 5.

A day later, when the paper was completely dry, I processed the rings with fine sandpaper. So that they become absolutely smooth.

Step 6.

I painted all the blanks with white acrylic paint and left to dry for several hours.

Step 7.

I painted all the rings with acrylics of different colors.

Step 8.

After everything was dry, I covered it with the last layer of paint, black. Left to dry for several hours.

Step 9.

When the paints were well dried, he began to erase the top layer with sandpaper. The layers are erased, somewhere more, somewhere less, forming a unique texture.

Step 10.

I covered the rings with acrylic varnish 2 times. But, better to cover with clear nail polish, it will be much better.

The rings turned out, indeed, quite strong, they are not afraid of water.

In general, I satisfied my curiosity and shared with you.
