Friends, hello!

We often have plastic buckets of mayonnaise, paint, varnish, etc. We never throw them away, because we love to make various crafts out of them, and most of all flower pots. And what could be more pleasant, to make a pot with your own hands, plant a flower in it and watch how it lives.

Today I want to offer you 3 fairly simple and inexpensive ideas of which flower pots can be made from buckets. It is not necessary to do exactly as we do, you can safely add something. The main thing is more imagination.

For the manufacture of 3 pots we used:

· Plastic buckets of different sizes;

· Sandpaper;

· Old rags;

· Plaster;

· Lace;

· PVA glue, hot glue;

· Yarn of different colors;

· Jute twine;

· Gauze or bandage;

· Buttons;

· Acrylic paints;

· Acrylic lacquer;

· Universal varnish in a spray can.

It may seem that there are a lot of materials and they are all expensive, but this is not so. If you are constantly doing different crafts, then you probably have most of the materials. No more than 80 rubles were spent on each pot.

Idea 1.

Step 1.

We clean the plastic bucket with sandpaper, so that in the future the paint will stick to it better.

Step 2.

Cut the rag (preferably knitted) into strips 7-8 cm wide. We dilute gypsum in density like sour cream. We soak a rag in a putty and glue it on the top of the bucket.

Leave to dry for 24 hours.

Step 3.

We glue laces on a bucket with PVA glue. We dry for several hours.

Step 4.

Paint the flower pot with black acrylic paint.

When dry, add a little purple color.

And at the end with white paint.

Step 5.

We cover with acrylic varnish.

Step 6.

We glue several halves of the beads.

The first pot is ready.

Idea 2.

Step 1.

Cut off the upper rim from the mayonnaise bucket.

Step 2.

We begin to glue the yarn onto the bucket. First, a few turns of green yarn.

Then several rows of blue yarn.

And finally, add white yarn.

All glued on PVA.

Step 3.

We make a simple flower out of yarn and glue it on the pot. You can glue the finished decorative flower.

Step 4.

We spray with universal varnish from a spray can.

Here's the second idea.

3 idea.

Step 1.

Cut off the top rim of the bucket.

Step 2.

We glue gauze or a bandage on PVA glue on the bucket. Leave to dry for 2-3 hours. The gauze will give the pot a nice texture.

Step 3.

We wrap the top of the pot with a jute twine and "draw" arbitrary patterns. It is convenient to glue the twine with hot glue.

Step 4.

We glue different buttons on the same hot glue.

Step 5.

We paint the pot in dark purple or dark brown.

Then we go through a light shade of purple.

Finally, add some white.

Step 6.

We apply acrylic varnish.

The pot is ready.

Do not forget to make holes for water in all pots. We use small saucers or plates of suitable size as a stand.

In the comments, under other articles about flower pots, people wrote that such pots crumble in a few months, that there is bad plastic and nothing grows. I don't know what their problem is, but we have had such pots for 2-3 years on the sunny side and the plants just fatten in them.
