Friends, hello!
In this article, I want to show you what an interesting and unusual night light I got from ping-pong balls and a garland. It is done very simply, literally in 2 hours I assembled it and launched it.
Everything you need to make:
· Ping-pong balls 52pcs;
· Electric garland;
· Hot glue;
· Scissors.
Depending on the size of the night light, there will be a different number of balls. It took me 52 pieces. A garland is needed with the same number of bulbs or a little more.
As for fire safety, I am sure that such a lamp is no more dangerous than other household appliances. The garland is LED, and does not heat up at all. The control unit outputs no more than 9 volts at the output. I've been using it for over 5 months now, everything works great.
How much did this lamp cost me?
1. I bought the balls on Aliexpress, a batch of 100 pieces for 400 rubles.
2. I bought the garland at the local market for 100 rubles.
Total:
52 balls - 208 rubles + a garland of 100 rubles and 2 rods of 5 rubles each = 318 rubles.
Such a lamp cannot be found on sale for sure, it is exclusive. In addition, you can make a lamp of different shapes, not just a pyramid.
If you are skeptical about such crafts, then you do not need this article, just close it and walk by. Thank you!
Step 1.
I made holes in the balls with scissors.
Step 2.
I glued the balls with hot glue in a triangle. Spent 21 balls.
Step 3.
He began to glue the second row of balls, simultaneously inserting garland bulbs into the holes.
In the center, the pyramid is hollow, just a place for an extra wire.
In the same way, I glued the rest of the rows to the very top.
Step 4.
At the end, before gluing the last balls, I placed extra bulbs and a wire in the cavity of the pyramid.
I glued the last ball, leaving some wire outside.
Step 5.
I glued the outer wire to the pyramid, and also glued the control unit.
The lamp is ready.
See how it shines:
