Made a cool homemade product from an old frying pan and stones

  • Dec 17, 2020

Friends, hello everyone!

2.5 years ago I made a very entertaining craft from an old frying pan, stones and some other materials. I ended up with a nice desktop waterfall that still functions. And it is done so simply and quickly that everyone can repeat it if they wish.

In a friend's attic I found an old frying pan, which he already wanted to throw out, but it occurred to me to make something out of it. That's how this idea was born, to make a desktop waterfall. Although instead of a frying pan, you can use any container.

For making, I used:

· A large old frying pan;

· Several kilograms of stones;

· Hot glue;

· Polymer glue "Titan" (another is possible);

· Mini pump;

· A tube;

· Bronze acrylic paint;

· Charging from the phone;

· Shells and moss.

I bought the pipe in the construction market, it used to be used by finishers as a hydro level before, and even now. I bought a pump in an electronics store for 100 rubles. I saw 60-70 rubles on Aliexpress.

Step 1.

I twisted the handle of the frying pan, it is completely unnecessary.

Step 2.

In the center of the pan I glued a mini pump with a straw on hot glue. I cut off the tube about 15 cm long.

Step 3.

Around the pump, he began to assemble a pile of stones, temporarily fastening it with hot glue.

Step 4.

From above, I covered the tube with a stone so that the water would not splash up, but flow down the hill.

Step 5.

Spilled the whole hill with polymer glue.

Step 6.

He filled the frying pan with stones and also filled it with glue.

Outside, the pan was slightly tinted with bronze paint.

Step 7.

In some places I planted real moss. But, it is better to use artificial moss or some other plant.

I poured small seashells on stones.

Step 8.

I connected an old phone charger to the pump.

The waterfall is ready, see how it works:
