Today there will be a summer craft for a garden and a summer residence. A simple but attractive flowerpot made of a plastic bottle, cement and broken dishes. A pot for a garden with a mosaic.
You don't need expensive materials or any special tools.
All you need is:
· 5 liter plastic bottle;
· Knife, scissors;
· Thick nail and candle;
· Serpyanka or HB fabric;
· Hot glue;
· Capacity for mixing the solution;
· Rubber gloves;
· Cement of the M400 brand and sand;
· Pieces of broken dishes;
You can take a 10 liter bottle, you get a large, beautiful flowerpot for large plants.
Serpyanka is a mesh tape used in decoration. She glues drywall joints, sold in hardware stores. It can be replaced with pieces of HB (or other fabric that absorbs water well) fabric.
Our sand is the most common, quarry with a small amount of clay in it. If there is a lot of clay in the sand, then the solution will crack more when it dries.
Pieces of broken crockery can be safely replaced with pieces of tile.
Step 1.
Cut the plastic bottle to the desired size and burn water holes in the bottom using a nail and a candle.
Step 2.
We glue the serpyanka to the bottle with hot glue. Serpyanka itself is sticky, then its stickiness is not enough to firmly adhere to the plastic.
Step 3.
Pour 2 parts of sand and 1 part of cement into a basin, mix on dry, add water and knead until a homogeneous substance.
Step 4.
We coat the bottle with serpyanka with solution, straight with our hands. The layer thickness is small enough to hide the tape. Leave to dry for 24 hours.
Step 5.
After a day, we moisten the flowerpot with water and apply a second layer of solution about 1.5-2 cm thick.
Step 6.
While the solution is damp, glue shards of dishes or tiles onto it. Just pressing the pieces into the solution and leave to dry for a day.
The pot is ready, you can plant flowers.
