Hello, friends!
Soon the holiday, international women's day on March 8, and on this occasion today I will show you how to make a souvenir for the holiday with your own hands. The souvenir is made from a piece of burlap, red cloth and other materials.
This gift can be made with your child, what he would give to mom, grandmother, teacher or his girlfriend. It will be difficult for the child to do it himself, but if you help, he will even be interested.
Materials needed for manufacturing:
· Burlap;
· Red cotton fabric;
· Iron;
· PVA glue, hot glue;
· Remnant;
· Threads with needles;
· Wooden skewers;
· Silicone filler;
· Beads;
· Green ribbon;
· Green felt;
· Plastic bottle, styrofoam, stones;
· Satin ribbon;
The filler is called "Silicone filler" - this is not a mistake, it is. We buy burlap in the market, where they sell fabrics, felt and satin ribbons in the same place.
Step 1.
Cut 5 pieces of red cloth measuring 10 cm x 17 cm.
Step 2.
Ironed on both sides by 1 cm and glued with PVA glue in half into a tube.
Step 3.
Gathered and pulled off one side with a thread and a needle.
Step 4.
We filled the bag with silicone and sewed it with our hands with a bead in the center of the bud.
Step 5.
They took 5 skewers and wrapped them with a green ribbon.
Step 6.
Templates were cut out of paper.
Step 7.
Transferred templates to felt, translated and cut out. Glued the leaves on the skewers.
Step 8.
Skewers were inserted into the buds.
Step 9.
Stones were poured into a cut plastic bottle and a couple of pieces of styrofoam were inserted. Skewers were stuck into the foam.
Step 10.
Cut out a piece of burlap 48 cm x 42 cm.
Step 11.
On all four sides of the burlap we outline a red satin ribbon and stitch it. We iron it.
Step 12.
We wrap a piece of a bottle with flowers in burlap and tie it with a satin ribbon. We glue the bead on the bow of the ribbon.
The souvenir gift is ready.
