I bought an old house. After 3 years, I discovered in the attic tools from the Soviet era from the old owners

Good afternoon, dear guests and subscribers of the channel "Build for myself!"

My wife and I bought a house from my grandma (the previous owner) in 2017. on a plot of 5 cells. We specially took an old house to demolish it later, because we are building a new house on the same site, which is what my channel "Build for myself" is dedicated to.

Since there was never a need - I never climbed into the attic. And only yesterday, the first time I had to get up, because the electrical wiring was closed, and all the old-fashioned twists and aluminum wiring in general, as I realized later, were made in the attic.

As soon as I got up, I was surprised to find at the entrance two sports bags and a huge metal unit weighing 60-70 kilograms (I don't know what he was doing in the attic).

He did not start digging in the bags in the dark with a flashlight, but immediately lowered them into the shed.

I examined the metal machine while tying it with a rope, since I could not lower this weight on my hands along the ladder.

Homemade circular saw with a jointer. Despite the sour terminals, the engine is working properly (from 220V). With the first launch, I had to scroll, then I started quietly without help. The belt driving the shaft with the saw is cracked from old age, but still working and looks like, I think, a couple of years for sure.

The first bag contained a grinder and two old drills:

The entire power tool is already rusty, I did not dare to start it, first I plan to disassemble, lubricate, ring and solder the contacts if necessary, and then we'll see.

The second bag contains a tool. A set of bits without a screwdriver and a set of special drills. In the same set there are several open-end keys. Again, of course, everything is old and rusty (I post the photos on purpose in high quality).

In the same bag there are a bunch of dies (lerki) for cutting external threads, a homemade hammer of 8-10 kilograms, an old table lamp and a few trinkets, I don't know what they are used for.

So, after 3 years I climbed into the attic :-))). I ought to go to the cellar, I have never been there ...

Of course, everything found will not be thrown away. After restoration - it will definitely come in handy on the farm!

That's all, thank you for your attention!

What trees are planted so as not to pump out the hole? (The most powerful soil dryers - bio-drainage)

Father-in-law showed the exact way of marking holes on the wall without a tape measure (how to hang a sink, stabilizer, boiler, etc.)

A beautiful solution for storing firewood on the site (takes up little space, quickly and affordable)
