Not much time is left before the Orthodox holiday of Easter. This year Easter will be April 19, roughly speaking, there are only 1.5 months left.
Several years ago we decided not only to paint the eggs, but to decorate them in a more interesting way. And today I will show you what we did. This decor is not complicated at all, but it looks very nice.
For decoration we used:
· Boiled eggs;
· Decoupage napkins with small patterns;
· Egg white;
· Small brush;
· Any vegetable oil.
As you can see, there are very few materials, and almost any person can find them.
Decoupage napkins (they come in two or three layers), we buy in supermarkets, they are inexpensive. For the decoration of the testicles, be sure to choose with a small pattern - this is important!
Step 1.
Cook eggs, as usual, hard boiled. We cool them and wipe them dry.
Step 2.
Break the raw egg into a small container and separate the white from the yolk. We only need protein.
Stir the protein with a brush, but not too much so that no foam forms.
Step 3.
Remove the extra layers from decoupage napkins, leaving only the layer with the pattern. We tear off the fragments that we like with our hands. Be sure to use your hands, so the border of the transition from the napkin to the egg will not be visible.
Step 4.
We put the fragments of the napkin on the testicle and glue them with protein. Protein is a natural glue, environmentally friendly.
After gluing, leave the eggs to dry for 1-2 hours, then apply a second layer of protein and dry again.
Step 5.
To make the eggs shine, you can rub them with any vegetable oil.
Now you're done! You can use any drawing you like best, only small in size so that it fits on the egg.
