Hello dear friends!

I want to share with you how I have grown very beautiful crystals at home in 2 days. It turned out to be a very exciting activity that you can repeat with your children, they will definitely like it.

In the store, in the toy department, I bought a set for 250 rubles for growing crystals. And I bought the second set a year ago, but I still couldn't get my hands on it.

This is what the box looks like. This is not an advertisement. You can search in your stores or buy online. Crystals come in a variety of colors, yellow, red, blue and white.

To grow crystals I needed:

· Set for growing;

· 2 small jars;

· Pebbles, threads, a pair of pencils, napkins;

· Hot water;

· Beaker;

· The spoon.

Step 1.

I unpacked the box. It contains a bag of powder, dye and detailed instructions. I poured the powder into jars and poured 300 ml of hot water into each one.

Mix thoroughly to dissolve the powder.

Step 2.

I chose 2 small stones and tied a thread to them. Tied the other end of the thread to a pencil.

Step 3.

I added dye to the jars and mixed everything well again. He left the solution for 15 minutes to cool slightly.

Step 4.

I immersed the pebbles on a string in the jars, so that they were approximately in the middle of the liquid.

The reaction started with the release of bubbles, it looks very nice.

Step 5.

After 2 hours, I pulled out pebbles, on which crystals had already begun to grow.

A solution up to 70 degrees in a water bath, mixed the precipitate and immersed the crystals in a liquid. Covered with a napkin and left for a day.

Step 6.

After 24 hours, I pulled out the crystals, they have already grown like this.

Crystals also started growing at the bottom, but I don't need that. He reheated the solution and mixed. Immersed the crystals in water and left for another 24 hours.

Step 7.

A day later, I took out the crystals on a napkin to dry them.

Here is such a beauty. For some reason, they grew up in different shapes, one in the form of a herringbone, and the second almost shapeless.

Step 8.

I took the lid from the cardboard box and painted it with black acrylic paint.

When the paint has dried, I glued the crystals with polymer glue.

Everything is ready.
