I'm sure many of you use different creams, including creams in metal or plastic jars. What do you do with the jars when the cream runs out? Are you throwing it out? But in vain!
Today I will show you how gorgeous and beautiful, at the same time, a simple craft can be made from such a jar.
For manufacturing we used:
· A metal jar of cream;
· Sandpaper, nail polish remover;
· Acrylic paint;
· Half beads (large and small);
· Hot glue;
· Wooden or other ball.
Step 1.
The cream jar was treated with sandpaper, the main thing here is not to remove the paint, but to scratch it well. Because everything adheres poorly to a smooth surface.
Step 2.
Treated the jar with nail polish remover.
Step 3.
Painted with white acrylic paint using a sponge. If you can't paint over the first time, after a while you can apply a second layer of paint.
We also painted a small wooden ball.
We dry for several hours.
Step 4.
Glued half-beads in rows on the whole jar and on the lid.
Step 5.
Small half-beads were glued to the corner of the lid.
And in the center of the lid is a ball.
The result is such a delicate, adorable box for various little things.
Many will now begin to write in the comments that this is a very expensive craft and not worth the trouble. This is true and not true. And that's why.
If you buy all the materials in a craft store, then it really comes out quite expensive, but if you buy elsewhere, like us, it turns out to be a penny.
We take the paint from the hardware store. Beads, rhinestones and the like in the market where sewing accessories are sold. Glue is also in the building market. It's just that prices in handicraft stores are very high.
So, this box took 5 rubles of paint, 2 rods of 8 rubles each, hot glue, 50 rubles half beads. Total: 71 rubles. I will even round up to 100 rubles. Agree - this is not much, for such a cool craft.
