5 creative things to do with pistachio shells

Today I will show you 5 simple ideas of what can be made from pistachio shells. The ideas are very simple to implement and do not require expensive materials. They will be especially interesting to do with the children.

Before work, the shells should be well rinsed and dried.

Idea 1.

Materials:

· Glass cup;

· Cling film;

· Shells from pistachios;

· PVA glue;

· Universal varnish in a spray can.

Step 1.

Wrap a glass or other cup of a suitable size with cling film.

Step 2.

We begin to glue the shells.

After gluing the walls of the cup, add a drop of glue between the shells.

Step 3.

We glue the bottom and leave to dry for 12 hours.

Step 4.

After 12 hours, remove the cup and remove the film. We cover it 2 times with a universal (acrylic) varnish.

Here is such a simple and pretty cup made of pistachio shells.

Note:

We use construction, thick PVA glue, we just poured it into a bottle for convenience. Construction PVA glues everything very well and holds it firmly.

Idea 2.

Materials:

· Shell;

· Hot glue;

· Burlap, jute twine;

· Cardboard;

· Dry twigs, bay leaves;

· Varnish.

Step 1.

We glue flowers from the shells.

Step 2.

The base was made of cardboard, on which burlap was glued, and a pigtail, woven from jute twine, was put along the edge. Make the dimensions of the base at your discretion.

Step 3.

We glue dry twigs, eggshell flowers and bay leaves onto the base.

Step 4.

We cover it for 2 times with varnish from a spray can.

Done!

Idea 3.

Materials:

· Wooden skewers;

· Napkins;

· Pistachio shell;

· Hot glue;

· Varnish.

Step 1.

We wrap a wooden skewer (about half the length) with a strip of napkin. This is necessary to slightly thicken the skewer.

Step 2.

We glue the shell to the spikelet skewer.

Step 3.

We cover with a universal varnish.

And you're done.

Materials:

· Corrugated cardboard;

· PVA glue and hot glue;

· Burlap, jute twine;

· Pistachio shell;

· Electronic candle;

· Varnish.

Step 1.

2 circles with a diameter of 12 cm were cut out of corrugated cardboard and glued together.

Step 2.

On both sides, we glued a burlap on PVA to a cardboard circle and cut off the excess.

Step 3.

A pigtail was woven from jute twine and glued to a circle.

Step 4.

In the center, they marked the place for the highlight and began to glue the shells.

Step 5.

At the end they were varnished.

· Shell;

· Hot glue;

· Rhinestones;

· Dry twigs;

· Jute twine;

· Varnish.

Step 1.

We cut small circles from thin cardboard.

Step 2.

We glue a rhinestone to the center of each circle, and around it there are pistachio shells to make a flower.

Step 3.

We take several dry twigs and collect them in a sheaf.

Step 4.

We glue the flowers to the twigs.

Step 5.

We cover with varnish.

The result is such a bouquet in eco style.
