For a long time I have not written an article on what can be made from a 5 liter bottle. Just today I want to show you how to make a suitable thing for the house with your own hands. There are not many materials, they are all simple and affordable, and the creation process itself is quite simple.
For manufacturing, you need the following;
· 5 liter plastic bottle;
· Scissors;
· Soldering iron (optional);
· Hot glue, PVA glue;
· Newspapers, ordinary napkins;
· Wooden skewer or knitting needle;
· Acrylic paints and acrylic varnish.
We have a square-shaped bottle, but you can also make a round one - it doesn't matter. If you don't have a soldering iron, you can use an old knife heated over a candle or gas stove.
Step 1.
Cut the bottle into pieces.
Step 2.
In the cut-off bottom of the bottle, we burn a hole with a soldering iron so that the neck of the bottle passes into it.
We insert the neck into the hole and twist the lid, in which we also made several holes.
For greater strength, we glue it with hot glue.
Step 3.
We glue the entire structure with newspaper pieces on PVA glue. We coat with additional glue.
Leave to dry for 1-2 hours.
Step 4.
Now we glue it over with crumpled napkins and leave everything to dry for 12-16 hours.
Step 5.
Using a skewer or knitting needle, twist several tubes from the newspaper and flatten them.
Step 6.
Using some object of a square cross-section, we wind the petals. We also twist just circles from the tubes.
We glue the petals and circles on the bottle. We also make an edging from flattened tubes at the top and bottom. Leave to dry for several hours.
Step 7.
We paint with black acrylic paint.
Then we apply a little lilac color.
After that we finish with a bronze color.
Step 8.
After the paint has dried, apply 2 layers of acrylic varnish.
It turned out here such a flower pot-pots from a plastic bottle.
I'll write right away, you can choose any color you like best. We like the dark tones to match the old bronze.
