Greetings, dear readers!
I want to tell you a little story that happened to my YouTube award. When the number of subscribers on the channel reaches 100,000, YouTube sends an award. It's a silver button and a congratulatory letter from the director.
The button itself, of course, is not made of silver, as many might think, even a gram is not there. It is made of plastic and aluminum. And it is called so because of its color.
I got a call in the morning (just on my birthday) from customs and said that a package came to my name from YouTube, and they had to open it to clarify what was inside. And that she's a little damaged. And after lunch, the courier brought it to me straight home.
This is a present, I thought, until I pulled the box out of the bag.
The first thing I saw was a hole (you can't call it any other way) right in the center of the box.
I open it, and the hole found its continuation in the foam rubber seal.
The letter was also pierced.
And here it is! Dent right in the most prominent place!!! Well, Christmas tree sticks, how so something !?
The mood immediately dropped. After examining the entire button, I found a couple more defects.
I certainly understand that YouTube could not initially put a defective button, why do they need it. The delivery service is to blame for everything. But, as always, you will not find the extreme.
What I've done? Here's what. I wrote to YouTube support, explained the situation and sent them these photos with the defective button. They apologized, although it was not their fault, and wrote that they would send another.
And voila, 2 weeks later I got another silver button, kissing and shiny.
And now I have 2 silver buttons and 1 gold one! I got the gold one later, when the channel gained 1,000,000 subscribers.
This is the story that happened.
