Today I will show you how you can make a nice decor for a floor vase, which costs from 800 rubles in a store, for only 190 rubles. and a few hours. The decor is simple, but not bad at all.
All you need is:
· Fresh thin willow branches;
· Mop, scotch tape;
· A little PVA glue;
· Thick HB threads;
· Several balloons;
· Paint spray in a can.
Now let's calculate how much we spent materials.
Willow branches are free. Scotch tape took no more than 1-1.5 meters, let's say for 10 rubles. PVA glue also took a little, let it be 20 rubles. Threads - 30 rubles. 3 balls, 10 p. - 30 rubles. A can of paint - 100 rubles.
Total: 190 rubles, or even less. I counted to the maximum. My calculations may differ from your amount as I calculated at our local rates.
In the store, I saw a similar decor from 800 rubles and more. Sellers say that this is supposedly handmade, but if you look closely, you can see that this is a factory, mass production.
Step 1.
Branches must be moist, not dry. We remove leaves from them. You do not need to remove the bark.
Step 2.
We wind the branches on a mop or any even stick. We wind it in a spiral, securing it in several places with tape. The branches are very flexible, so don't be afraid, they won't break.
Leave the branches to dry for 3 days. Then we cut off the tape and these spirals are obtained.
Step 3.
Pour some glue into the cup (if it is very thick, add a little water). We moisten the thread in glue and wind it around the balls.
Leave to dry overnight.
Step 4.
We paint the balls and branches with spray paint. Our color is gold, but you can use whichever you like best.
Step 5.
We install a composition of branches and balls in a vase and you're done!
By the way, the balls were simply hung on twigs, they are light and hold normally.
