Dear friends, hello!
Today I want to share with you how we made an attractive planter out of a 5 liter plastic bottle and newspapers. To be honest, they themselves did not expect that such a cool craft would turn out from such simple materials. Looking ahead, I will say that this planter was made about 2 years ago and it still serves us, although it stands on the window, on the sunny side.
Here are the materials we used:
· 5 liter plastic bottle;
· Newspapers;
· Disposable gloves;
· Sandpaper, White Spirit;
· PVA glue and hot glue;
· Acrylic paints and acrylic varnish (construction);
There are not so many materials, and whoever is engaged in crafts, they will certainly be found.
Step 1.
The bottom of the bottle was cut off. They sanded it with sandpaper and wiped it with White Spirit (you can use a solvent, nail polish remover or alcohol).
Step 2.
The newspaper was folded lengthwise into 3 parts and cut.
Step 3.
PVA glue, and we have it thick, was diluted a little with water. Soaked newspaper strips in glue.
Step 4.
They made a braid from wet newspapers. Determine the length yourself, for your size of the pots.
The braid was left to dry for 24 hours.
Step 5.
After the braid had dried well, they glued it with hot glue to the cut off part of the bottle.
Do not use a lot of hot glue, as the plastic can deform.
Step 6.
They twisted a tube from the newspaper, flattened it and glued it to the inside of the planter.
Step 7.
We pasted a couple of flowers made from newspaper.

Or stick any other decor you like, or leave it completely without it.
Step 8.
We painted the planter with black acrylic paint, and when it dried, added some white and turquoise colors.
Step 9.
Covered the pots with 2 layers of acrylic varnish.
