Recently, my parents finished repairs in a country house and left behind plastic canisters. Well, as always, we don't throw anything away, but decided to make something useful for the house out of them. Decided and done! It turned out even very nice.
For work, we used:
· Plastic cans 10 liter;
· Jute rope;
· HB fabric;
· Hot glue;
· Threads, needles, pins;
· Scissors.
Our rope is 10 mm in diameter. We bought it in a construction supermarket, there was a sale at 15 rubles per square meter. If you search, you can find it even cheaper, there are places where rope is sold by weight, it turns out even cheaper there. 1 canister took about 17 meters of rope.
Step 1.
The canister was cut approximately in half. We need the bottom part.
Step 2.
The entire lower part of the canister was glued around with a rope on hot glue. The bottom was also pasted over, since we have a transparent shelf and the bottom will be visible. If the shelf is ordinary, then in order to save rope, the bottom does not need to be pasted over.
Step 3.
The rope is very “hairy”, so the hairs of the candles were burned.
Step 4.
They put the canister on the cloth, tucked the corner and pinned it to the rope. We also fixed the corner itself with pins.
Step 5.
We sew and cut off the excess.
Step 6.
We process the internal seams, stitching them up.
Thus, we sew all the corners.
Step 7.
We sew it by turning the outer part.
Step 8.
Remove the rag bag from the canister, place it inside and tuck it outside.
Done! We got such nice towel organizers.
The bag can always be pulled out and washed.
