The owners of mini-kitchens know very well how difficult it is to find the right furniture for them. But kitchen furniture manufacturers are also aware of this problem, so they are constantly developing new modifications of comfortable and functional headsets.
These include Sakura kitchens, developed by the 21st century design studio.
Sakura flowers are the main decoration of the headset
They belong to the category of economy class kitchens, but, according to consumers, they have excellent performance and attractive design.
Detailed description
There are five modifications in the Sakura series in total, differing from each other in terms of configuration and overall length. All kitchens are designed in a laconic Japanese style and are ideal for young and active people.
Design
The cabinet bodies are made of laminated chipboard in the popular wenge color, and the facades are made of high-quality and environmentally friendly MDF with a beech-cappuccino film decor. The wenge cornice, with which the kitchen is completed at the request of the customer, connects the cases and facades, creating an integral harmonious picture.
Facade color
The swing doors of one of the wall cabinets are decorated with decorative glass with sakura flowers. Thanks to the same width of all fronts, the open spice shelf can be placed under any of the top modules or elsewhere in your kitchen, such as above the dining table.
Each of the models in this series is available in right and left versions.
For reference. Many serial manufacturers of kitchen furniture make this model in a different decor. For example, in the photo below there is a headset from the Skif company with MDF facades in film.
The color of the upper facades is white sakura, the lower ones are black sakura

Equipment
Each Sakura kitchen set, regardless of the model, is equipped with a spice shelf, a top dryer with a tray, and a deep inset stainless steel sink. As well as a solid postforming top in wenge color, common to the lower modules.
The kit also includes instructions for self-assembly of furniture.
The number of lower and upper modules included in the kit, as well as their filling, depends on the modification of the kitchen.
- Sakura 1. The most compact model with a total length of 1000 mm along the upper modules. The hinged part consists of a cabinet with a drying cabinet, a cabinet with shelves and a hood module. Floor-standing - from a cabinet with a sink and swing fronts and a cabinet with shelves and one drawer-metabox for cutlery.
First modification (right)
For reference. Metaboxes are called drawers with metal sides and partial extension roller guides. After watching the proposed video, you will be convinced of their convenience and functionality.
Dimensions: 1600x986x330 mm (top); 1000x860x600 mm (bottom). 600 mm left for the installation of a freestanding plate
- Sakura 2. A module with three drawers has been added to the bottom row of this kitchen, the bottom of which is convenient to use for large kitchen utensils - pots and pans. Accordingly, both the working surface and the length of the upper modules have increased.
Second modification (left)
Dimensions: 2000x986x330 mm (top); 1400x860x600 mm (bottom).
- Sakura 3. The fundamental difference between this modification and the first two is a sink with a wing, for the installation of which the first floor module was expanded by 200 mm. The wall cabinet with a dish drainer has also become wider.
Third modification (left)
Dimensions: 2200x986x330 mm (top); 1600x860x600 (bottom).
- Sakura 4. Everything is the same as in the second modification: a sink without a wing, four drawers with metaboxes, but a 500 mm wide pencil case with a niche for a microwave oven or other oversized kitchen appliances appeared. This fully functional model is perfect for larger kitchens than in Khrushchevs.
Fourth modification (right)
Dimensions: 2500х1340 (986) х330 mm (top); 2500x860x600 mm (bottom).
- Sakura 5. The most functional kitchen of the whole series. Another new element appeared in it: a bottle-box for storing narrow and tall bottles, cans, boxes and other items. Above it is a narrow wall cabinet with shelves. The higher price of this headset is due to the presence of a niche for a built-in electric stove with an oven, which has a shallow drawer for storing baking trays. The pencil case, which appeared in the previous modification, has become wider and is equipped with double-leaf facades. And the sink has found a wing dryer again.
Fifth modification (left)
Dimensions: 2950х1340 (986) х330 mm (top); 2950x860x600 mm (bottom).
Having familiarized yourself with all the design options, you can choose the most suitable size for you. A refrigerator installed next to the sink unit will enhance the functionality and usability of this modern kitchen.

Advantages of Sakura kitchens
- Like any other mass-produced cabinet furniture, the Sakura kitchen can be assembled with your own hands, without resorting to the services of assemblers. The cut-out in the countertop for the sink is made at the factory, so you just have to put it in place.
- The sink itself meets all modern requirements: it is deep enough, easy to use, and the cut-in design protects the countertop from moisture and condensation.
- Built into the upper module located above the sink, the dish drainer allows you to put it back in place immediately after washing without cluttering the work surface of the table. The water from the vertical trays will drain into the sump.
- Finally, these kitchens have a very attractive and modern design.
Conclusion
Even the smallest kitchen can be cozy and comfortable if it is equipped with beautiful and functional furniture. The headsets described above are designed for a wide range of consumers who want to provide themselves with comfort in the kitchen, keeping within a small budget, but without sacrificing quality.
