I bought myself as a present for the New Year what I had been "licking my lips" for three years - a cordless chain saw with a 6.5 cm chain. Bosch EasyCut 12 is called.
For the first time I saw this fundamentally new type of power tool in Germany at the beginning of 2018 (https://ammo1.livejournal.com/907923.html). It turned out that these saws are sold in Russia, but the "toad" did not allow me to buy it (it seems that there is a jigsaw, and you can get by). And now he stepped on her throat and bought it. :)
The chain nanosaw has many advantages: it can cut into the material, does not vibrate when the material is not very well fixed, and cuts very quickly and evenly.
Minus one - very expensive removable files.
The main unit of this saw is the NanoBlade saw chain module.
These files are of four types - 5 and 6.5 cm, regular and "fast". The cheapest one costs about 1,400 rubles, the most expensive (this is exactly what the saw has in the kit) about 1,800 rubles.
I looked at Aliexpress: alas, the Chinese have not yet established the production of compatible files for three kopecks.
The file is placed and removed very quickly using a special locking mechanism.
The file is very, very sharp. After the first use, I foolishly decided to brush the sawdust off with my finger. The wound on the finger still hasn't healed. To protect the file (or rather from the file) there is a plastic case.
Cutting speed is regulated by the degree of pressing the main button, side buttons are needed for protection (to start sawing, you must first press any button on the side, and without releasing it, press the central key). The indicator shows the battery charge level (green - OK, red - almost empty).
First of all, I tried to cut a plastic cable channel. It turned out that the chain saw is not suitable for this - the plastic breaks along the cut line. Yesterday I cut three large holes in the drywall with this saw. It saws well and quickly, but there was everything around in the drywall dust, and I'm not sure that I did not harm the chain itself, and the saw as a whole (the dust got even under the charging indicator window). This saw is designed primarily for wood and wood-based materials.
Bosch has three types of Nanoblade chain saws - corded in EasyCut 50 jigsaw format, cordless for large 18-volt EasyCut 18 batteries and for 12-volt batteries that fit into the EasyCut 12 handle. I took the third option as the most compact and convenient one. There are two complete sets of EasyCut 12 - without a battery, charger and case (~ 7000 rubles), and with a battery, charger and case. I took this option.
I bought in Ozone, now she is there costs 9892 rubles (I got it cheaper due to 6% cashback on Halva).
I cannot yet share my experience in sawing wood materials (for lack of one), but I am sure that I bought this thing for a reason and it will come in handy more than once.
