Who decided to assemble extended cables for their inverter. How much money will have to be spent.
The first step is to know how much you can lengthen the wires on the holder and the mass of your inverter. Recently there was such an article on our channel-READ HERE
Let's say Vladimir decided to lengthen the welding cables of the mass and the holder on his inverter. The factory ones, which come with the device, are very short, 2 meters long, and it is quite inconvenient to work with them.
Vladimir went to the tool store to estimate how much it would cost him to make cables 5 meters long - the optimal length for ease of use.
Let's start with the cable. It is better to take the cable for the holder and the mass on 16 squares, the flexible cable is designated KG 1-16 mm. Such a cable will withstand welding current up to 180-190 amperes, and more is not needed for our household inverters.
The average price per meter of such a cable is 150 rubles. We need 10 meters, 5 for the ground and 5 for the grip. Total RUB 1,500 for a flexible cable.
Now the welding arm. We will not transfer from the factory kit, but assemble a new kit with a normal grip. Such a screw holder will cost an average of 500-600 rubles.
Mass clamp. We will not take the cheapest one, we will take it more serious, more durable, but more expensive. The approximate price of such a clothespin will be 300 rubles.
Quick-release plugs of the welding cable that screw into the sockets on the inverter. The average price of a pair of these sockets is 200 rubles. There are also much more expensive ones, but we will take the average prices on the welding equipment sites.
Let's summarize how much money Vladimir needs to buy all the spare parts in order to assemble himself welding cables of normal length.
Total: 2500 rubles are needed. But there are also ready-made, already assembled, on sale, their price ranges from 2500 to 3000 rubles. This is for a set of 5 meters per grip and weight.
