Choosing the right seeds
To get a large harvest of pepper, you need to take a responsible approach to the selection of seeds. It is not necessary to choose beautiful bags with bright pictures, but the material of proven agricultural firms. Or seek advice from experienced gardeners, ask those who always have good peppers. The best seeds are selected as follows. It is necessary to dilute 30 g of salt crystals in 1000 ml of water. Seeds are placed there and mixed thoroughly. We remove those that surfaced, that settled at the bottom - we boldly sow. Before planting in the ground, treat with a manganese solution.
If you prefer to buy seedlings, and not grow them yourself, then we recommend doing this not in a spontaneous market, but in a specialized store or gardening facility. Only the strongest and most resistant seedlings are suitable for planting.
Fertilizer
After planting, young peppers need good feeding. Before planting in the ground, throw a handful of wood ash into the hole, add a combined mineral fertilizer or a complex liquid fertilizer specifically for peppers.
During the flowering period, the peppers must be fed regularly. For this, both mineral mixtures and organic substances can be used. For example, you can prepare a solution from 1 bucket of water, 2 tbsp. l. superphosphate and 1 kg of manure. Mix everything and cover, leave for 5 days in a warm and dark room. The liquid needs to be stirred occasionally. You can put a bucket in a greenhouse, that will be enough. In the absence of manure, you can take 0.5 kg of chicken manure. Before adding to the soil, the composition must be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10. And water with this solution at least once a week.
To make the ovaries of the peppers strong, you need to apply fertilizers, which contain a lot of nitrogen and phosphorus. This will stimulate the formation of fruits, strengthen the plant's immunity and improve its condition.
When the pepper begins to bear fruit, regularly add wood ash to the soil. Sprinkle around the trunk and loosen slightly. Useful substances, together with water, will get inside during watering and give the pepper additional strength.
Additional pollination
Provide the peppers with proper pollination. You can attract bumblebees, bees and other beneficial insects using a special mixture. It is prepared from 100 g of sugar, 1000 ml of pure water and 2-3 g of boric acid. The mixture is sprayed onto the plant.
If you don't feel like bothering, just prepare sweet water or water with honey. Spray peppers with this solution regularly.
Providing the plant with adequate nutrition, correct and periodic weeding, regular watering and loosening of the soil, you can provide yourself with a good harvest of pepper. And yes, a box from one bush - only you will have.
