You never know what fate has in store for you. Earlier it seemed to me that conflict with neighbors in the country was the last thing. But when we got our own site, my opinion on this matter changed.
If you are not yet in the know, then know: on your personal plot you cannot install a blank fence if the neighbors are against it. According to the rules and regulations, the fence must allow air and light to pass through.
It sounds rather absurd and implausible, but there is a corresponding standard. Therefore, I want to warn you so that later very unpleasant situations do not arise.
I fenced off my site with a netting. I did it temporarily, because in the future I planned to put up a normal fence. To my surprise, the neighbors rebelled. They didn't like that I wanted to hide my property from their eyes. Supposedly, their precious tomatoes will start to wither due to the lack of light.
Having opened the charter of the partnership, I saw that it is really forbidden to install a blank fence on the site. Otherwise, it will be demolished, and I will have to pay a fine.
As a result, I decided not to spoil relations with neighbors completely, and therefore began to look for other solutions to the problem. The thought immediately came to me that the chain-link should be darkened. So I will at least hide from the neighbors' eyes. These are the options that seemed the most realistic to me.
Shading grid
As a rule, it is used to equip sheds, for example, in playgrounds, so that the little ones play in the shade, and not in the sun. The mesh is quite dense, but I am not sure of its service life on the fence. It is inexpensive, so it won't be too bad if it deteriorates quickly.
Also, for shelter from prying eyes, a mosquito or front mesh is suitable. Only they need to be wound in two layers. A 50-meter roll of shading mesh costs about 6 thousand rubles. The price tag of the facade mesh is more acceptable.
Polypropylene opaque film
Think of the sugar bags. They are made from this very film. It is often white, but other colors are also available on the market. The material transmits light, does not deteriorate under the influence of moisture, and tolerates temperature changes well. True, the air almost does not pass through the film. To eliminate this drawback, you can leave minor gaps at the bottom of the fence.
Scrim
These meshes contain polymer materials. Of all the options that came to my mind, I decided to stop at this one. Firstly, the camouflage netting is quite strong, secondly, it does not allow moisture to pass through, and thirdly, it is resistant to ultraviolet light. And this is not a complete list of benefits.
On sale there are various options for colors and weaves. If you look at a fence covered with a camouflage net from a distance, it will look like a hedge. The only drawback is that the cost of the mesh is quite high, especially compared to the options described above.
In general, while I am choosing a camouflage net to hide from neighbors and passers-by. But in my heart I hope that in the future a normal fence will appear on my site.
