Good afternoon, my reader. In combination with salsa, any dish acquires an exquisite taste and becomes a hit of the meal. Spicy Mexican sauce is used as a seasoning for meat and fish dishes, and is added to burritos and fajitas. Salsa lovers will also appreciate the taste. You can buy the sauce at any grocery store, but it's much more fun to prepare it yourself. The result will be especially good if you plucked the vegetables used in the cooking process from your own garden.

Ingredients

The list below does not contain exotic products. And the recipe itself is extremely simple and does not require any special tricks from you. The secret of the magical taste of salsa lies in the fact that in the process of preparing the sauce, chefs use very fresh vegetables - these are the ingredients you have to find in the nearest market or in your own garden.

  • Tomatoes - 0.5 kg. When choosing the main ingredient, attention should be paid to the degree of maturity. They should be juicy and spread a pleasant scent.
  • Hot pepper - 1 pc. Green jalapeno peppers are good for making salsa. You can also use other varieties of chili, the main thing is that their pulp spreads a characteristic aroma and burns when consumed.
  • Bulgarian pepper - 1 pc.
  • Onions - 1 pc.
  • Garlic - 3 cloves.
  • Lemon juice - 2 tsp l.
  • Table vinegar - 1 tsp l.
  • Granulated sugar - 2 tsp l.
  • Coarse salt - 1 tbsp. l.
  • Parsley.
  • Ground black pepper.
If desired, the sauce can be made more tender and less pungent. To do this, you need to reduce the amount of hot peppers or add a couple of tomatoes.

Cooking process

The recipe for making salsa cannot be called complicated or confusing, but only neat and responsible chefs can expect a good result. During the cooking process, you cannot neglect any of the steps described below:
