Dear friends, I greet you!
The other day I made an interesting and useful thing for the house from a cheap plastic container. I want to share with you what I did, how I did it, and what materials I used for this.
It took me to make me.
· Plastic container;
· Sandpaper, nail polish remover;
· Finishing putty, plaster;
· PVA glue;
· Sponge;
· Acrylic paints;
· Universal varnish.
I do something almost every day and I always have a lot of materials. Especially for this craft, I bought only a container for 45 rubles.
Step 1.
I removed all the labels from the container and scratched the plastic well with coarse sandpaper.
Then I wiped the container with nail polish remover. Any liquid that has a degreasing effect can be used.
Step 2.
I poured some construction PVA into the container and diluted it with water. I added putties and stirred.
PVA glue will give the putty great strength after drying.
Step 3.
Using a piece of foam rubber, I began to apply the putty to the container.
Applied with "poking" movements to get small peaks. Left to dry for 12 hours.
Step4.
After drying, the putty was lightly rubbed with coarse sandpaper to remove sharp spots.
Step 5.
I painted everything with dark blue acrylic paint.
Step 6.
With a soldering iron, I melted a couple of holes for water drainage.
Step 7.
When the blue paint has dried, lightly apply white acrylic paint with a semi-dry brush.
Step 8.
Finally, I applied a layer of universal, quick-drying varnish from a spray can. You can use acrylic varnish.
