Vinegar
Weeds can be destroyed with vinegar. It is advisable to use it on a sunny, windless day. This rule will help eliminate the possibility of vinegar getting on crops. If you need to apply the substance not to all the grass, but to specific areas, then use a brush.

To treat unwanted grass in the yard and garden plot, you will need about 4 liters of vinegar diluted in 10 liters of liquid. Mix the ingredients in a bucket. Add salt and a few drops of liquid soap solution. This product has a long-lasting effect because the soap creates a dry shell that prevents the vinegar from breaking down.
Lemon acid
It is recommended to use this substance with a couple of vinegar or separately. Dissolve about 3 tbsp in 1 liter of hot liquid. l. citric acid. Mix all ingredients, cool slightly (until warm) and apply to unwanted plants.
Steamed salt with vinegar
If you mix salt with vinegar, you get a strong concentrate. This mixture will help get rid of weeds for a long time.
The composition consists of:
- from vinegar (5 tbsp. l.);
- water (1 l);
- salt (2 tbsp. l).
Boil water first, add vinegar and add salt. It is recommended to add dish detergent to the solution or replace it with liquid soap. Mix everything and sprinkle the weeds with a hot solution. Take care of watering, the solution should never get on the cultivated plants. Perform this treatment in dry, sunny weather.
Baking soda
For spraying, a solution is used. To do this, take 2 liters of water, add a pack of baking soda and grated laundry soap. The solution should be infused, then spray it with weeds. After this treatment, peat or compost should be added to the soil to restore its balance.
Weed Management Tips
To combat unwanted grasses, soil mulching can be applied. In this case, the soil should not be completely bare - at the end of weeding, it must be sprinkled with chips. Materials suitable for mulch:
- needles;
- seed husks;
- cut grass.
Mulch should be laid in a layer of at least 2 cm.
Ethyl alcohol should not be used to combat weeds. And after using salt, nothing can be planted in this place for about two years.
The growth of weeds can be stopped by taking preventive measures in time. Top dressing is introduced into the cultivated soil to get rid of the seeds. This is best done as soon as the first shoots appear.
